1.- Se llamará "Hidden Treasures of the Mayan World", pues tendrá participantes angloparlantes.
Feliz Solsticio,
Piti
"Hidden Treasures of the Mayan World": confirmamos Marines y mi persona.
Abrazos
Las fechas de "Hidden Treasures of the Mayan World" serán:
Octubre 19-24, 2012...
Hidden Treasures of the Mayan World - October 19-24, 2012.
Visiting ancient, sacred sites can be not just a tourist trip but a life-changing experience - if approached with safe, proper facilitation, and energetic appreciation for the timeless wisdom that continues to reside in these sites.
These sites carry hidden treasures that are waiting to be discovered and received by any/all who are interested and ready to become more conscious.
This opportunity to travel to ancient Mayan sites is special for the reason that participants will have the chance to receive such safe and energetic facilitation from Sifu Piti Parra Duque, who is a well-seasoned, well-versed expert in the art of decoding and receiving the wisdom of sacred sites.
Through the combined open-ness of the participant, excellent facilitation of Sifu Piti, and the catalytic effect of the sacred sites, participants will be able to connect with this timeless wisdom and undergo a personal transformation, leading to bliss, increased consciousness and sense of fulfillment.
This trip is geared toward any independent adventurer wishing for such experiences, while enjoying the light-hearted and joyful company of like-minded travellers.
They will also complete the expedition with practical tools on how to navigate any future sacred site they choose to visit.
"After Chichén Itzá was appointed as one of the New Wonders of the World, and especially because of its closeness to the tourist areas of the Rivera Maya, this site (and several similar ones, like Palenque, Tikal, Tulum…) has dramatically exceeded its carrying capacity, and in order to cope with the increased number of tourists who visit it daily, the access to most of the pyramids and other buildings has been restricted.
So, even though these sites are still magnificent, the visitor´s experience is now very limited, due to the impossibility to enter most of the sacred sites and the lack of opportunity to stay for a longer period of time in them, to explore them in depth.
While exploring the Mayan World with Nicolás in 2010, we found other sites which were as important in Mayan times, but which are not as close to Cancún and the popular resorts, so one can really explore them with lots of time and no restrictions of access to any of their little, hidden secrets.
Last year we decided to explore them with a wonderful group of “expeditioners” and had a wonderful time.
And if something is as good as that, it is definitely worth visiting again – so we decided to visit it again in October, 2012, before the December solstice, “just in case the interpretations of the Mayan prophecies are right” – hahaha…
So, we will visit, explore and “play around” six wonderful archaeological sites in the Heart of the Mayan World – Kohunlich, Dzibanché, Xpuhil, Becán, Chicanná and the Imperial City of Calakmul. We will be able to “see” each of these Sacred Places with the eyes of our body and the Eyes of our Hearts and Souls, with no rush and no crowds, and then we will have the possibility to “process the experiences” in the comfort of “The Explorean”, one of those little, hidden boutique hotels away from everything and everyone (www.explorean.com).
The essential idea of this “expedition” is to share an experiential learning process to “understand and interiorize the basic ABC”, which most Sacred Sites share, so that each participant can acquire the necessary tools and skills to enjoy future experiences by themselves." - Piti Parra Duque
"Being a person whose main work is the facilitation of others, I confess to having stringent standards on what would be considered as effective facilitation: participants must feel safe yet invigorated to take intelligent risks so that they can expand and grow beyond their personal thresholds. Often facilitators lack balance and over-emphasize safety to the point of indulgence, or implement risks that are beyond participants' limits.
In the case of Sifu Piti, I have had the privilege of receiving facilitation from him on several occasions, a notable one being the visit to Teotihuacan. His ability to make any visit, whether it be to the local museum or archaeological ancient site, not just a 'visit' but a profound and long-lasting experience of personal transformation is remarkable. Most of all, the 'journey' is meaningful, fun and safe. I can say, without hesitation, that Sifu Piti's facilitation is some of the best I have ever experienced, and I look forward with great anticipation to joining and 'experiencing' this expedition to the Mayan World." - Sifu Emiko
